They could try and steal this, but the math says, game over.
As soon as any trend is in around 20%, you can call it. It will never deviate from those numbers. Absentees would have to reverse the trend and break 2 to 1 for LM. And that won’t happen, if it “does” happen, it did not “really” happen and the election was stolen. Ever a possibility, but, at that point, you fight and you will find the fraud. Too many times the good guy gives up. And we get a Daschle or a Franken.

Still more absentee ballots to count than the difference between the two candidates, but Murkowski would need to hve the vast bulk of them to win, it would seem.

The race is reminiscent of Rep. Don Young's (R) primary in 2008, which ended in a recount and dragged on for some three weeks after Election Day. Young was eventually declared the winner by just over 500 votes.Over a guy named Sean Parnell, I believe. I wonder what ever happened to him.

Yes, and FWIW, the pundit and so-called expert, Larry Sabato, (who said Lisa was going to win handily) now says that she cannot win -— she’d have to sweep the absentees — and that’s not possible.
