We don’t need the Huckster in the 2012 race at all.

Pushing the new Juan stand-in Mike Huckabee, RINO at best, pure Huckster as observed, and paid subversive in all probability!

Sure are a lot of RINOs on that list. The MSM is already trying to campaign for Obama’s reelection, I see.

And as to the “top two” on the list.... No thank you (true for pretty much the whole list in my book).

I had a loooong conversation with my nephew from Georgia about this very issue this evening. We came to the startling conclusion that Newt Gingrich is the most excellent choice for America at this time in her ailing History. As an Historian, with immense experience in leadership, Newt may be the most natural choice at this stage.

We’ll buy them some candy. That should distract them long enough.

Obviously Newt would be good in many ways.

He’s been too accommodating for me to trust him.
Chief of staff. Sr Policy advisor.

Our next Pres MUST have a backbone and courage of
conviction unequalled....Palin Santorum pop first in my mind.
This will not be a time to build concensus.
This will be a time to demonstrate why liberalism fails

NO WAY! Newtie is a brilliant strategist and thinker (as we saw with the 1994 GOP election victories), but he's horrible in implementing policy and is easily rolled. Besides, he's gotten too cozy with the Ruling Class, and likes to be invited to all the cool Ben Bradlee-Sally Quinn parties inside the Beltway.

I would love to see a match between Ears Odumbo and Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachman. Both those ladies have more spine and 'nads than all the Washington elected GOP combined. The contrast between Herbert Hoover Obama and Palin or Bachman would result in a 49 State landslide for the pro-Americans and the Country class.

Probably not a 49 state win for anybody regardless of who the GOP nominates. I honestly don’t know if the GOP will ever win California again in our lifetime.

Newt had his moment in the light- the Contract with America, the first 100 days thing. He coached the new House members and did swell.

His personal failings deflated his sails.

He’s a valuable asset but he is not Moses or Joshua.

God will annoint a leader if we are to have one; this may be our last gasp.

Sounds squirrely to me.

Daniels would have to do something radical to get enough attention to build his name identification and to raise the needed funds. Santorum couldn’t get re-elected in his own state. We’ll have to see how Christie plays out.

Reagan got elected because everyone knew who he was and everyone knew what a poor president that Carter was. He did not get elected because everyone wanted a conservative or because they knew he would be a great president. In fact many voted for him with great concerns about whether he would maintain peace and be able to deal with Congress.

Palin will get elected because everyone knows who she is and what an awful president Obama has been. Many will vote for her with misgivings about her readiness but will still elect her. There may be lots of qualified candidates, but none who come anywhere near her in name identification and in the courage to speak against Obama.

After the 2010 midterm losses, Obama’s top line of Marxists will start leaving and he will be forced to appoint from the second string of Marxists. By then he will be flailing about, still in over his head but without any life raft. If you think he’s doing poorly now, just wait.
