Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said that Jesuss Golden Rule inspired him to vote to confirm Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court and suggested it would be a good thing for his Senate colleagues to also ponder Jesuss words as they prepared to vote on Kagan.
It is divine in its orientation, and it is probably something that would serve us all well if we thought about it at moments such as this, Sen. Graham said on the Senate floor, as he pointed his colleagues to the Golden Rule and counseled them to look to the wisdom of somebody far wiser than I am as they cast their votes on Kagan.(continued)
I’ve sent an e-mail to Lindsey Graham telling him he is a fool, and invoking misquoted scripture in the form of the “Golden Rule” in an effort to cover his butt for voting for an abortion supporting (now) jurist is confirmation of that fact.
I further stated he would answer to God at some point.
AC/DC
He is not an honorable man or woman.
Maybe Lindsay has been hanging around Charlie Rangel, I think Charlie said God told him to fight the ethics charges.
Did Jesus also inspire Graham to be a flamer?
Lindsey, let me school you on The Golden Rule. It cannot be divorced from truth, justice or righteousness. If I were to ever turn communist, I would want people to have the same disdain for me as I do communists.
Gays of a feather flock together.
How can this idiot continue to be so stupid?
Jesus didn’t inspire him to do anything, but I hope I inspire him to go rape himself.
Oh my, using the Jesus card, how can we argue against him now, lol?
Lindsay, are you sure it wasn’t the serpent telling you to take a bite from an apple off of the forbidden tree? No deities speaking to me, but why do I have this feeling that “We the People” are going to really regret the evil you have unleashed upon us with your vote.
Graham is a corrupt Big Government politician looking for crazy excuses to excuses his reprehensible actions.
The man should be kicked out of the Republican Party for that reason alone.
Its one thing to be an openly liberal politician it’s quite anther to lie about it.
