As ditsy as she appears to you, you must realize that she saved McCain from experiencing a Mondale type loss. Had any of the 2 you suggested ran with McCain do you really think the results would have been the same? McCain was destined to be over whelmed until Ditsy arrived and awakened the Independents and stay home voters. The dormant voters went to the polls and voted for Ditsy not McCain. At least here they did. I still hear people bragging that they voted for Ditsy not McCain.
