You siad:

OK, so you are self-admitting a lack of responsibility.

Then you might temper your criticism of those who HAVE stepped up to take the responsibility, by considering that THEY too are just human, fallible, and can only do what they can do.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

“human and fallible”??? What the heck? Ok, how’s this again? “fallible” is choosing whether to head east or west on the freeway, unsure of which direction the exit you need is in. It’s not “Gee, which set of assinine regulations to kill business do I get behind and then wriggle out of later, when people whine at me?” That’s not “fallible”. That’s “faithless ideological idiocy”.

It’s not like we’re facing anything that’s hard to understand, or is difficult to determine which side we should be on. Or is that these people simply have no brain? I mean, I understand Democrats wanting socialism and unemployment and misery all around. That’s thier beliefs, that’s their religion, that’s what they live for. What I don’t understand is when in response to the blowout in the Gulf, you immedately find a bunch of GOP members racing to be greenie idiots. Huh? Have they freaking lost their minds???

And where, WHERE is the leadership? Where is McConnell when Senate members start wandering off to the left? With them? This isn’t a matter of “fallible”. This is utter betrayal of the nation.

When “immigration reform” shows up, you can count McDumb and Gramdumber to immediately race to the other side screaming “WE WANT AMNESTY!!!!” Instead of trying to get Democrats to possibly join, conservatives have to spend all their time, energy and money trying to keep the GOP from being “Obama-lite.”

I can vote, sure. And in my area, the vast majority votes with me. Pointlessly, to be sure, because we’re totally and permanently outvoted by the idiots 275 miles away on the other end of the state.

And you say “go campaign”? The only place that would help is to campaign or try to influence people on the other end of the state. I can’t go there. hell, I can’t even give my daughter (senior, hs) money to buy stuff to make lunch with, I’m that broke. After all, I’m a small businessman, and I came within 200 dollars of losing my entire business back in 2008, when the credit crunch came and people stopped paying their bills for months. I’ve had to live without anything resembling a paycheck for years now, to get things back to the point where we can breath again, and start repaying OUR debts.

And along come GOP membes galore, who can’t seem to find it within their soul to stand with me and in a roar of 41 or 178 unified voices shout “HELL NO!” every time the libs come around to bash my head in. Instead, a big chunk of them keep turning around and kicking me in the gut. Seriously, are they sadists, or what? How is it that this stuff is “tempting”??? So that “fallible” people fall for it? I can’t imagine. It’s my last time in this life, this is MY last chance to be anything but destitute when the rest of my very thin hair turns gray, I’ve lost it all twice before.

To have someone turn on me and say “yeah, we wannt beat you down some more with regulations, taxes, or mandates”, is not a “fallible” behavior. It’s an evil malevolence.

Pass that around to your party boys and see them frown. They don’t like being found out.

“And along come GOP membes galore, who can’t seem to find it within their soul to stand with me and in a roar of 41 or 178 unified voices shout “HELL NO!” every time the libs come around to bash my head in.”

There you go again. Actually, the GOP has done that so well, saying ‘no’ and opposing Obama’s socialism, that Obama is calling them the Party of No.

“It’s not like we’re facing anything that’s hard to understand, or is difficult to determine which side we should be on.”

There you go again. Saying its easy, having not been in the arena. IF IT WAS EASY, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY NOW.

“I mean, I understand Democrats wanting socialism and unemployment and misery all around.”

You give the enemy a pass for being 100% against you, while bashing those who are 90% FOR you for their 10% variations? That makes no sense. I DONT understand why anyone is a liberal, but I DO understand that those who are liberals are the ones pushing the worst ideas on America, by far.

Here’s the deal... politicians have to deal with many constituencies.

“What I don’t understand is when in response to the blowout in the Gulf, you immedately find a bunch of GOP members racing to be greenie idiots. Huh? ... This is utter betrayal of the nation.”

Huh, indeed, Democrats are okay but Repubs are not?

“When “immigration reform” shows up, you can count McDumb and Gramdumber ....”
- I guess you missed the memo. McCain is close to losing his primary over that issue, and Bob Bennett already did. And AZ Republicans passed a tough immigration bill... I mean, I dont want to step on your fine rant, but you are bound and determined to throw all the GOP babies out with the RINO bathwater.

It’s frankly waaaay to ‘2006’ for some of us. You would do well to get with the program and get up to speed on the reformation that has happened already and is happening in the Republican party.

“And you say “go campaign”? The only place that would help is to campaign or try to influence people on the other end of the state. I can’t go there. “

So? you can make calls. you can make a difference in primaries and local races. you can influence state-level races.

“How is it that this stuff is “tempting”??? So that “fallible” people fall for it? I can’t imagine. It’s my last time in this life, this is MY last chance to be anything but destitute when the rest of my very thin hair turns gray, I’ve lost it all twice before.”

Duh - IT’S SIMPLE - Politicians do what gets SUPPORTED... as long as conservatives like you demand the kind of perfection that nobody can live up to, they dont even bother and work on other constituencies ... meaning the moderate limp-noodle voters and/or liberals.

THAT”S why they dont respond to you, because you DONT HELP THE GOOD CONSERVATIVES WHO DO THE RIGHT THING! Well, at least other conservatives HAVE woken up and are doing the right thing.

You can lead, you can follow the lead of others (go here
Http://redstate.com for how its being done now) ... or you can get out of the way while the conservative reformers clean up the GOP and set us up for conservative victory in 2010.

In future, I’d advise you quit with the broad brush complaints and focus more on constructive criticism of specific individuals dong specific things The party is made of all of those who help make the GOP what it is, voters and officeholders. We cant all agree as we are millions strong. But most core principles are shared.
