This is a complementary piece to another thread I posted re Palin's endorsement of Fiorina. I think the establishment is wrong, too. Does anyone recal the NY23rd race earlier between Hoffman and Scozzafava(?)-well Scozzie was the establishment pick, none other than Mr. Newt endorsed her and that didn't turn out well for the establishment GOP. Look at Charlis Crist in FL and his recent record of going indie to screw up Rubio's chances of winning the seat. If Fiorina is the establishment's candidate, we know they don't always know what's best for us or who the best candidate is.

“This is a complementary piece...”

In what way is it complementary?

Consistency would be nice.

"Scozzie was the establishment pick"

Big difference - Scozzafava was appointed.

Carly has put herself up to a vote in a primary election by party members.

Sarah is free to endorse anyone she wants, for whatever reason she has.

If Devore can win the primary he deserves to be the candidate. Same holds for Carly.

Sarah is not a friend of the tea party. She is another globalist in great looking clothing!

It shows the danger of putting anyone, let alone a politician, on a pedestal. You will inevitably be disappointed.

I was excited that she endorsed Hoffman so quickly. Much less so about not endorsing Chuck, who has spoken at all our area 912 groups and deserves her endorsement much more than Fiorina. Sarah’s a true conservative, and I think she believes Fiorina the most likely to beat Boxer. Still, aren’t you also hungering for someone to stand on principles alone?

Maybe Carly will do for Californian Republicans what she did for HP.

Carly made two major strategic moves during her tenure as HP CEO. First, she spun off the technical equipment division, which was the core HP business from its inception (analogous to alienating limited-government conservatives in the GOP.) Second, she accomplished a merger with Compaq at the insistence of Wall Street and over the objections of many shareholders and employees (analogous to embracing the big government RINO types.)

Neither strategy was very successful for HP. Under her leadership, HP stock went from $52/share to $21/share. Over the same period, its closest competitor, Dell, went from $37 to $40. And the company’s stellar reputation for product quality has been in shambles ever since.

Infoworld magazine declared Carly as the “anti-Steve Jobs” for reversing the goodwill of American engineers and for alienating existing customers. Portfolio magazine listed Carly in their list of “The 20 Worst American CEOs of All Time”.

"They believed Sarah Palin to be representative of the Tea Party–who all endorse Chuck DeVore."

" This is California, after all, and Chuck DeVore has the Tea Party and serious conservative vote wrapped up.

This guy is a liar.

Fiorina wins the support of the Tea Partiers, not Devore.

"Many Sarah Palin devotees seem shocked that Sarah Palin endorsed Carly Fiorina for Senator. They believed Sarah Palin to be representative of the Tea Party–who all endorse Chuck DeVore."

What a load of crock. Mellissa is wrong, yet again. Wish she would stop pretending she knows anything about the Tea Party.

You do realize that we have polling on voters that are tea party supporters, and Fiorina wins their support, not Devore.

This writer is a liar.
