To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
If abortion defines conservative, we're in a world of hurt.

It's not in my top 5 issues...when survival of the Republic is at stake.

Well, I'm as pro-life as any FReeper and won't support an out-and-out abortionist.
I don't consider Brown a pro-abortionist though he's far from being pro-life either. He's squarely in the middle, libertarian. A view that feasible considering the state he represents.

He opposes Obamacare and federal funding of abortion. If he becomes a RINO, we can always field a conservative candidate to replace him in 2012. That's good enough for me.

No crap. In “normal” times, I believe it would be an important issue, but as you said, the foundations of our Republic are being attacked. It doesn’t sound like he is a rabid pro-abort, but sticking with the status quo. Not my favorite position, but the ability to worry about the legality of abortion will be moot if Obamacare is rammed down our throats.

Wow. Not even in your top five issues. It is my ultimate issue. I can’t imagine not caring about killing babies. People are certainly different that is for sure.
