The very first comment beneath the guy’s bizarre essay said it all. He tried to deal with Sarah Palin by devising a one-dimensional mockup of Palin and then assaulting it for being one-dimensional. Ridiculous.

And Ron Paul!!! Yikes indeed.

Ron Paul was over for me when he blamed the US for 911.

Asks Antiwar.com’s Justin Raimondo: “Where and when has Palin ever articulated a coherent alternative to the orthodox Republican doctrines of supply-side economics and endless war?”

In other words, Palin is neither a RINO elitist, nor a crackpot third party Paul-pod, but a mainstream Reagan conservative. That's why ordinary middle-American conservatives love her, and leftists and Repubiticians are afraid of her.

I’m reading her book right now. Although I’m not yet to the middle of the book, it looks to me like she has had lots of experience at governing—not in the spotlight, perhaps, but behind the scenes. Even in Alaska, some of her conservative principals have gotten her into trouble.

Raimondo, whoever the heck he is, is a jackass.
Republicans don't advocate “endless war”.
Who is his right mind does that?

This is a pretty idiotic article. It makes very little sense.
Who the heck is Jack Hunter? He must be a halfwit.

A hero to the Tea Party set, Palin has quickly come to represent anti-government, grassroots outrage.

BS! We represent smaller, more accountable government!

Just like the patriots who organized the first "Tea Party"!

This “writer” lost credibility with the second paragraph. She has no ties to a seccession movement and as for the 2000 campaign she supported Steve Forbes not Pat Buchanan. She merely welcomed Buchanan to Alaska on a campaign visit. Finally concerning this “what’s her policy” trip these dungerheads have been on lately. What part of cut taxes, cut the capital gains taxes do these people not get. She supports tax cuts to grow the economy. It worked when Kennedy did. It worked when Reagan did it and you could argue it helped when Clinton agreed with the republican congress to cut taxes in the mid 90’s.

The problem with Paul isn’t his personality - it’s his kooky politics. And yes, he’s our kook; but he’s still not the type of person to lead the direction of a national party. Most normal voters aren’t going to get excited about returning to the gold standard; and while Paul’s perennial drive to audit the FED may be entertaining, it does beg the question “and then what?”

Lew says he is too authoritarian on illegals.

Sarah Palin is the only politician that ever sold her jet to save money for the people of her state.

She is the real deal!

this guy has no idea about Palin. he knows nothing. he wonders what her “voting record” is. CEO’s do not vote. they drive agenda make decsions. get bills passed by getting votes. they lead. Palin has many many “policy postions” from her years has CEO of a small town and State. She is small government pro defense. she understands that far from “blowback” many many people in the world would like nothing better than to destroy this country. that we are as always in a ideaology war. Paul supporters should be thankful for Palin. She is the only major candidate that has more than 505 of their views they are ever going to see on the national scence. Paul got 10% of the vote in the GOP. He will never be a national figure again. time to change horses.

But what is a “Palinite?” I’m not sure anyone knows. I’m not even sure she knows.

One item, unlike the Paul's isolationism or the Obama's Wilsonism, Sarah Palin does not strike me as someone who will depend on the kindness of strangers. And I would prefer to have an adult running US foreign policy,
