A Challenge to Mainstream Media's FCC Licenses to Broadcast

The FCC Licenses of state run mainstream media outlets like ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, NY Times, and others should be challenged and aggressively uncovered for their treachery in both conspiring with the Democrats, daily, to shape the news, rather than report it.

This amazing story reveals that Iranians planned to detonate a radioactive "dirty bomb" off Israel's coast on Yom Kippur. This was to be the long-anticipated Iranian attack on Israel. Not the expected rocket attacks (which could be intercepted by the Israelis) but an even more deadly and unexpected attack by sea.. Unfortunately for the Islamic plotters, Somali pirates hijacked their ship......"

Over the years, various radio talk show hosts have played long strings of sound bites from self proclaimed "true journalists" from these stations and demonstrated that they use the exact same words, phrases and templates and premises for their stories on the EXACT same days and it is a demonstrable fact that there should be grounds to pursue an investigation and that their licenses should be in jeopardy.

Example: Two stories which would have been extremely interesting and pertinent in the 2008 Presidential Elections, considering that the United States is in the middle of a war on terror, were the revelation in July that the U.S. Marines and the Canadians deployed in Iraq had discovered 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium and that they just got it completely out of Iraq as late as summer of 2009. Bush lied, right? No nuclear program in Iraq, right?

Also, an iron ore ship flying Iranian flag and state owned and operated, to my knowledge, prior to our Presidential elections, was a floating dirty bomb and the Iranians attempted a NUCLEAR attack on Israel. It was only thwarted by the Somali pirates who hijacked the ship and had many of their crew die of radiation poisoning.

All the while, everywhere you turned, Sarah Palin MAY have violated her ethical duties as Governor of Alaska, and POSSIBLY did something wrong in POSSIBLY getting the state trooper who used to be married to her sister (?) fired from the force. ANYTHING TO INSINUATE AND TO DISTRACT AND TO SMEAR and NOT to REPORT what was available.

Why can someone like me, an everyday joe, find things like this and from multiple sources and the "mainstream" media CHOOSES NOT TO USE THEIR RESOURCES AND REPORT?

ACORN'S story is another example. How is it that Charlie Gibson can get away with the thought that he "hadn't heard" of the scandal with ACORN? Who buys that?

If he IS the anchor and one of the ones, if not THE one who decides what is and isn't news for his show, then you know darn well that he KNEW...AND that the rest of the mainstream media was CHOOSING TO KEEP QUIET BECAUSE THEIR SILENCE WOULD PUT THE WHOLE ISSUE TO REST FASTER THAN SAYING ANYTHING WOULD.

Complicit. Collusion.

The FBI and the justice department ought to confiscate the e-mails of the editors of these operations and there should be....oh, wait. Who controls the law right now?

Better yet, a case can be made and brought before the FCC. Despite Obama's appointments, the TRUTH would hit FOX and the outstanding shows on the airwaves and would UNCOVER the corruption so clearly that only the most dishonest of people would cling to the lies being told them and force fed them on a daily basis.

America is suffering Munchausen by Proxy at the hands of the Democrats and the Mainstream Press and Media.

They keep the American people sick, deluded and deceived and THEY keep their jobs and are making their big grab for long term power and enslavement of the American people.

Only over-the-air broadcasters are subject to licensing by the FCC, and that is just for their local affiliates who actually do the physical act of broadcasting the signal. Cable TV outfis like CNN, MSNBS, CNBS and newspapers like the Al Qaeda Times do not (and should not, under any circumstances) need any sort of licensing. Also, the licensing (originally) had to do with the FCC ensuring that the signals of one TV or radio station do not conflict with those of another.

As much as I cannot stand the state-run media outfits at ABS, NBS and CBS, I would hate for their local affiliates to have their licenses challanged over content issues. That is a very dangerous precedent and we cannot go down that path.

I really do not think the FCC should be allowed to regulate the content of broadcast TV stations. I fear that this will give it the "authority" to silence talk radio and any other "dissenting" broadcaster. This is the type of thing Hugo Chavez did in Venezuela. We cannot, no matter how much we hate the left wing state-run media, ever allow ourselves to get into the censorship business.
