Scozzafava Calls the Cops

Tonight, Dede Scozzafava, the Republican candidate for the November 3 special election in the 23rd congressional district, spoke to about 100 Republicans at the Lewis County GOP dinner at the Elks Lodge 1605. After a dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, Scozzafava fended off criticism that she wasn't as conservative as third-party candidate Doug Hoffman and urged her supporters to vote for her in order to keep her Democratic opponent Bill Owens from serving as a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama's agenda in Washington. It was a fairly typical evening--until the speech ended and someone with Scozzafava's campaign called the police. On me.

Sure sounds like a democrat to me. Maybe she should call Lord Obozo to send her some secret service protection or some justice department “reporters”.

I agree. If she loses it will be egg on the face of the establishment RINO’s who hand selected this liberal loon. If they had picked Hoffman, he'd probably win pretty easily.

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

• In favor of gay marriage
• In favor of Cap and Trade (I need to check my sources on this. Newt said she opposed this)
• In favor of Employee Free Choice Act (Card Check)
• In favor of the Stimulus
• In favor of Bank Bailouts

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat.

There are also 17 RINOs in the house who have donated funds to this LibeRal democRat's campaign. They include Boehner and Cantor. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These RINOs should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year.
