We all know he paid for the sex. Who would have sex with the over the hill has been without financial reward except maybe Rosie O’Donnel and Drew Barrymore. Any bets on the models that show up in the beginning of the show

It is alleged that his affair with his staffer Stephanie Birkkett (who was frequently seen on the broadcast) was broken off just before his son was born. But, it's impossible to know if Letterman admitted any other post-marriage affairs without access to his grand jury testimony.

Incidentally, Birkett recently broke up with and moved out of the home of Letterman's blackmailer. He had her diary and some pictures that proved her relationship with Letterman.

Late Show employees work for Letterman, not CBS - unlike Leno & the Tonight Show, Letterman owns his own show with his production company, World Wide Pants. All those people work for Would Wide Pants, not CBS - FWIW.

I would point out - however - that other women who've worked for Letterman in similar positions as this assistant, may have been aggrieved by these affairs, and it may be actionable on their part. It will be interesting if Letterman, and his production company, are hit by sexual harassment suits.
