Mitt Romney has not announced whether or not hell make a second run for the White House, but his former aides are staying in campaign shape by managing key races across the nation that could benefit their old boss in future elections.
In at least six crucial races around the country, veterans of the former Massachusetts governors presidential campaign are working to guide new candidates to victory.
It may appear a simple case of political professionals moving to new clients, but Romneys team has kept in close contact should a second presidential campaign come to fruition.
That could pay off, said Claremont McKenna political scientist John Pitney. By having staffers on the ground, Romney is building what Pitney calls an informal intelligence network that can feed information back to the former Bay State governor.
With all his friends involved in campaigns around the country, its an excellent way for him to pick up anything thats going on in Republican-land, Pitney said.

I am not sure what would be worse..Baucus care coming out this week or Romney Care. Romney has a good chance to get the nomination.

Remember, as it got close to the election last year, people who rejected McCain based on his policy were told that voting against the Republican was the worst thing we could do? Remember when people got nasty, and tried to guilt us into voting for McCain, promising that next time, we could afford to have principle, but that this time,
Too Much Is At Stake!!!®
TM©?
They pontificated that if we'd only hold our noses and vote for a RINO (McCain) one more time, we'd never have to do it again?
They promised and pleaded that if only we'd compromise ourselves, we'd be rewarded with conservative candidates next time.
Remember those people?
Yeah, well, they're back and they're gearing up to announce that they really meant the time after next and you really really really really swear-to-goodness need to vote for Mitt Romney.

“I will stay home before I will vote for Romney.”
You and many others. And for all those milque-toast RINO apologists who somehow blame this mindset for the presence of an Obama, that’s b.s. If our party had remained a Reagan-conservative party, there would have never been the hint of a chance that a commie like Obama could get elected.

I’ll support Scotty Brown, who acted out of home state loyalty, but the others should be opposed in the primary.

Given how things are going with the Healthcare fight and the turn out at the Tea Parties I am beginning to worry much less about Mitt.
His healthcare fiasco will hang like a gilded albatross around his neck if his competition plays their cards right.

Mitt is McCain with a better dye job. A slick used car dealer that is still trying to get that 1973 Madador off the lot.
