WHAT COULD GO WRONG?
The Edisto Joe Outlook ^ | 09/02/2009 | Edisto Joe

Every now and then I receive an email that I think deserves to be posted and a retired friend of mine in Kentucky sent this. He is not the author and dosen't know who is but I apprecieate him sending it.(Thanks Ed!)

To Edisto Joe:

Let me get this straight...

Obama's health care plan is being written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, by Congressmen and women who won't be subject to it, signed by a President who smokes, funded by a treasury chief who did not pay his taxes, advised behind closed doors by an ex-Senator (Daschle) who also didn't pay his taxes and is now paid by hospital, drug and pharmaceutical companies, overseen by a surgeon general who is obese...and financed by a country that is broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

A bit sarcastic? Lets just say that Ed is just one more American that has worked hard all his life, provided for his family, educated his children, and gave his family more than he had growing up as a child. All without government assistance. In fact he ran a successful business which his employees now own and did it in spite of all the government BS that comes down the line year after year. He is one of the protesters that Steny Hoyer and Nancy Pelosi refer to as Un-American.

In reality he is more of an American and patriot than either of those two. His education came from 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and then spending another 20 years of his life building a successful construction business. If he wants to spend his retirement being engaged in town hall meetings, Tea Party rallies, and other political active endeavors, that's his right, he's more than earned it. And he'll be dammed if two public servants on the public dole can tell him different.

God bless you Ed and thanks for the Email.

Isn’t that quote from Rush? Maybe Rush simply re-read it on his show, but I’m sure that’s where I heard it first.

Good quote, whoever said it. It points out the glaring fallacies of O’CommieCare.
