Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin this week will begin accepting and rejecting the more than 1,070 invitations she has received for paid speeches and political appearances since she resigned from office, aides said.
Twenty speakers bureaus made offers to represent her. She has signed with Washington Speakers Bureau, which represents everyone from George and Laura Bush to Bob Woodward and Katie Couric [ snort ] to Alan Greenspan, Colin Powell and Rudy Giuliani.
More than 950 requests for speeches have poured in for Palin, and over 120 candidates for office have asked her to appear, including folks running for Senate, House and state Legislature, aides said.
Palin will be doing both paid speeches, which are expected to go for six figures apiece, and unpaid speeches for political and charitable causes, including Christian organizations, groups that support families with special-needs children and military families
This is great.
It should make for some great threads. And more importantly and hopefully, it will make for a great, charismatic, candidate who will communicate well, common sense constitutionalism.
40. RONALD REAGAN 1981-1989Ronald Reagan Biography in full Ronald Wilson Reagan (19112004)
Reagan, in his own hand By Ronald Reagan, Kiron K. Skinner, Annelise Anderson, Martin Anderson

Ronald Reagan had a great deal of experience as a communicator prior to being elected Governor of California in 1966.
He began with WHO Des Moines, learned of organizing against Communists in the Screen Actors Guild, served for years as spokesman for General Electric.
He wrote copiously and thoughtfully, producing his own articulate speeches--not relying on TelePrompTer of the United States (TOTUS).
He was slandered as an affable dunce--who bested the Soviet Union.
Just as Sarah Palin was hooted at by Tina Fey and David Letterman--but closed the biggest construction deal on the North American continent and torpedoed a major vulnerability of ali-Hussein's MengeleCaretm from her Face Book page.
It was falsely said that she claimed she could see Russia from her front porch--
--by products of a public school system which lost sight of Seward's Folly, the purchase from. . .Russia. . .of Alaska.
Can't blame Jon Stewart--Alaska is not in California or New York City, hence does not exist.
Speaking of exploding--CONUS will be the target of ali-Hussein's good buddies during his first and only term--
--and as per his own boast: "I will stand with them"--
--then he should be prepared to fall (politically) with them as well.
Thank you Phil, for replying to my request in Post #17.
You went to a lot of trouble and I will browse through all your material tomorrow myself.
I smell a new tagline...uh-huh, uh-huh! (see below)
God Bless that woman and her family! God Bless America! God Bless our Free Republic!
I uunderstand the libs wishing she’d go away, but the number of supposedly knowleageable conservatives who don’t understand the Palin effect is truly alarming. Mostly beltway types who live in their own bubble.
If you read books on Reagan’s wilderness years you will find that the 3 main avenues he used to get his message out were:
1)radio commentaries
2)op-eds in newspapers
3)countless number of political speeches
The advantage that Sarah Palin has is the Internet. Her Facebook takes the place of #2 and #3 is soon to emerge.
As for #1 we’ll see if Sarah pursues this course as well, but I wouldn’t bet against it.
Regarding your tag line:
I will try my best to raise as much as I can.
