Writing on Commentary's blog, Jennifer Rubin is wondering why Mr. Obama isn't the beloved figure he used to be less than a year ago and is offering liberals a bit of advice on how to redeem the presient's reputation. You see, no longer able to ignore the plummeting popularity of their beloved messiah, our liberal brethren have now segwayed into a flabbergasted state of frustration as they struggle to understand what it is the common man wants from their virtually perfect president. Attributing his nearly 20 point free fall in less than a year to his (as of yet unseen) unparalelled work ethic, former Gore campaign manager Donna Brazille wonders out loud if "the problem is that the president is doing too much and stressing everyone out..."
Yes, that's it! He's just such a gosh darn go-getter that America has grown worried about...well, who cares just shut up, get in line, and for God's sake don't tell the emperor he doesn't have any clothes on! Brazille has also suggested that if only Obama could "get back to the bipartisan appeal that worked during the campaign" then maybe, just maybe he wouldn't be seen as such a hack.

Donna Brazile is correct. Obama works waaaaaay too hard. So hard infact that he needs to take more vacations; he needs vacations from his vacation. He, Shelli and the girls, need to pack up BO and have some quality family time (say 40 months or so) at Camp David. Relax. Unwind. We’ll call ya when the lease is up Barry in 2012.

She should blog tonight and take him on....describing OBAMACARE as the pig and the lipstick being their attempt to offer it up as the Ted Kennedy Health Reform Bill.

Which America are we talking about? The pretentious white population who believed it was politically correct to have a black president and so any old black guy would do? The America who libeled and maligned our former president and showed all manner of contempt for not only the man, George W. Bush, but the highest office in this country? The America who made reprehensible and untrue comments about the intelligence of a man with an MBA from Harvard Business School, a man who fought for and received drug benefits for our seniors on Medicare, put tax cuts into effect for almost all Americans, and took us through the most tragic episode in American history since the bombing of Pearl Harbor? That America? That America was overcome recently with the realization that they have committed the biggest mistake possible... They have disenfranchised themselves from "America the Beautiful" and accepted devil who offers them world domination in place of their homeland. The other America, the one I will go to wall for, is still here and we've always despised this impostor.
Every day brings a new reason, hard to keep track of them all.

Yes, that was exactly my first thought. But beyond that, I believe many of the American public are beginning to see that his positions and decisions are, in fact, designed to do harm to this country. It makes no sense to raise taxes in a recession, but that is what he is doing. It makes no sense to try to overhaul 18% of the GDP, especially during our economic woes. It makes no sense to put into place Czars who are Marxist- communistst, with stated designs to 'spread the wealth'. None of these things make sense, unless the one who makes these decisions is in fact set by design to do great harm, or destroy, the American capilist system. In that case, it makes perfect sense. Obama is a communist. Look at his writings, his associates, his liberal education....all prepare him to enact just such decisions. Today, on Martha McCallums show she had an ex-CIA officer who stated, with balls, that this planned presecution of CIA lawyers and examiners was "giving aid and comfort to the enemy". I believe tht encapulates what Mr.Obama is all about.
