Almost no one in politics or the media will admit it in public, but the GOP lost the Presidency in 2008 by alienating the moral conservative base that the elites loathe. Many stayed home or voted third party, rejecting a nominee who was in fundamental aspects a liberal Democrat.
That is why Barry Sotero a radical socialist with Islamic roots posing as a Christian, groomed for years by Marxist revolutionaries, who hides essential documents of his birth, education and career, who campaigned with illegal funding from overseas interests, who as far as 300 million Americans can honestly tell, was born in a foreign country and (under the plain language of the Supreme Law of the United States, the Constitution) cannot legally be our President, who lacks even the executive experience of a night manager at a self-serve gas station nevertheless sleeps in the White House. Thats why. Do the homework. Look at the demographics.

Slick Willardbot n00b troll.
I’m just glad I’m not a Star Trek nerd. If that was the case, I’d put up pinup models on my FR profile so I might remember what attractive women look like. Since I wouldn’t have many dates, you see.
Dooooooooooooouche.
Huh? You know me? Really?
Rush endorsed MR, when was that in your dreams? It never happened.
A kos kidz thats cute.
Lets see, you joined FR what two days ago, no wait... you’re old mountain man huh?
I don’t demonize folks that don’t agree with 100% of the time, only those that disagree with me 100% of the time like MR.
So OMM, enjoy.....
Pull in Reagan, redefine, rinse, repeat...
Not at all, but a history lesson for the uninformed and/or the willfully blind. The list of presidential candidates and presidents who made significant changes in policy positions from state office to national campaigns is long and distinguished. And Reagan is definitely on that list.
Most voters will listen to Romney in the hear and now, and in the future, and decide if they agree with the positions he advocates or not. They won't base their decision on policies he might have supported as the governor of the most liberal state in the union, just as voters ignored parts of Reagan's record in California.
Romney is the leading candidate for 2012 at this early date, and Sarah is the only one who looks like a challenger for now. Many voters view Mitt as a conservative, so the Romney haters have a lot of work to do.
Goodness gracious, is that you DorkWolf ? Posting under a second account ? Or third ? Or fourth ?
This “Rugged Individual” is suspected to be ex-FReeper “Old Mountain man” who was banned earlier this month. His sign-up date is virtually the same day he was axed (7/8, 7/9). Please investigate, thanks.
Checked it out. OMM was apparently banned on or around July 8th. The n00b signed up on July 9th. Hmm....
Bingo!
“Rugged Individual” zotted ex-FReeper “Old Mountain Man” alert at post #303.
Wrongo.
Voters will look at what MR says and compare that to what Gov Palin says and there will be a clear difference and see MR for the liberal he is and Gov Palin for the conservative she is and then decide.
Gov Palin will be victorious over MR.
Rush did endorse Romney. Not explicitly, but you had to be listening. That’s why I podcast. You obviously don’t, so I would know. Please stick to statements about things you know something about.
I’ve never felt compelled to join FR, but I chose to recently because I enjoy intelligent discourse. Other than the RDS people who prefer Obeyme to Mitt, FR has met expectations.
Go find some more Google images for your profile. I recommend Angie Harmon, who happens to be pretty conservative herself. Maybe you can work your way up to actually attempting to talk to women soon.
It’s going to be tough to beat the ACORN fraud.
Lol, are you deranged. I've done none of those things on your cute little check list.
All I've said is that voters have to look at Mitt's policy positions and decide how they think he'd govern as president.
I basically ignore Mitt's record in Mass. because I don't think it tells us how he'd govern as president, just as Reagan's state record didn't. I haven't written one word defending Mitt's record as governor. I ignore it. And, many voters viewed him as conservative per exit polls during 2008.
Talking about Reagan's policies as governor and his transition to a more conservative politician on the national scene in no way slimes Reagan.
Some think Mitt has made a similar transition in national politics, others don't. I believe he has.
And I'm not a Romneybot. I'd be pleased if Romney or Sarah emerged as the candidate in 2012, just as I hoped for Romney or Thompson in 2008.
Great Stalinist move there. Ban anyone who doesn’t hate Mitt Romney. Good for you, you’re all in favor of the free exchange of ideas.
There’s no mountains in Oklahoma, dude.
Nice try, Slick Willardbot. Lie your butt off. Check.
This is a private, Conservative website. You are here at the invitation of JimRob. This isn't a cheerleader website for liberal Socialist candidates. BTW, what was your FReeper handle before you were banned ?
"Theres no mountains in Oklahoma, dude."
I've been to Oklahoma several times, dude. There are mountains. The Wichitas, the Winding Stairs... Have you ever been to Oklahoma ?
He was one of Reagan's principal economic advisers, and a supply sider. Google him and you'll get thousands of hits.
Voters will look at what MR says and compare that to what Gov Palin says and there will be a clear difference...
Voters will do that, but I believe Mitt and Sarah both will be running as conservatives. Voters who desire a conservative will have to decide how they believe candidates would actually govern. Huckabee will almost certainly be in the mix, also. And probably Pawlenty of Minnesota, who I guess is something of a RINO.
"Rush did endorse MR but not explicitly" LOL, LOL
Really how do you know I don't podcast.
I only write and speak about what I know, you silly man you.
Again, because apparently you may not actually read what is posted to you, I do not hate MR. I do however have a real problem with liberals.
You are correct but only one of them is a conservative.
