Let me confess: I really like New Jersey. No joke. My earliest memories are living on Alpha Avenue in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
When I was eight, in the summer of 68, my family moved. Today I live in Virginia, but just last year I detoured while driving to New York City and darted over to see the old Old Bridge neighborhood.
It was nice. I enjoyed the scenery. And, thankfully, I didnt have to pay their highest-in-the-nation taxes.
Or contemplate their latest corruption scandal.
Ive been thinking about New Jersey because, like Virginia, the state holds its governors race this year. Further, the gubernatorial race got interesting, since this fellow named Steve Lonegan entered the contest.

Vote Today for a Conservative Change
Vote Lonegan before NJ implodes like CA. Hopefully the people in NJ will wake up.
Doesn’t NJ typically Glow in the dark from all the illegal radioactive waste dumping from the mob?
We did our part here in Burlington County!
At least it’s farther away from me than Massachusetts is.
I’m mad as hell too. . . BTW, you should go into politics, because people DO want to hear the truth.
A vote for Lonegan is a vote for truth.
Personally, I hope the RATS win so NJ can be an example to the rest of the country on how to destroy a state through fraud, waste, abuse, high taxation, union pandering, etc., etc.
Conservatives here want to turn things around. But NOT with moderate Republicans. Steve Lonegan is a true Conservative candidate. He’s our chance to defeat liberalism in this state.
