Immigration is still the main reason why CA has become one of the bluest of blue states. Immigrants and minorities vote Democrat. One in four residents of CA is foreign born and one in three is Hispanic. Non-Hispanic whites are a minority due to birth rates and out migration. The US will look like CA by 2050 if we continue with our current immigration polices. .
