RNC Chairman Debate: You Should Submit Questions Here!

On January 5, Americans for Tax Reform will host a debate among the candidates for Chairman of the Republican National Committee and are soliciting the public for questions. The site is setup so not only can you ask questions, but you can also search and vote on questions submitted by others.

Question for Saul Anuszis: You have "led" the Michigan GOP for several years. In that time, Michigan has gone from a Republican Governor and a Republican controlled legislature to Democrats in both of those branches, in most cases being reelected at least once. Do you plan to lead the RNC in this manner if selected as RNC chairman?

Another question: Carl Levin has done nothing to bring federal dollars home to Michigan, did nothing on the auto bailout except get face time on news programs where he could look over his glasses and down his nose at all Americans. Although Levin has several liabilities that could be exploited by the proper leader, you did nothing to highlight his shortcomings. Would you treat other democraps in that manner?

One more: Mr. Anuszis, you were on two 50,000 watt blowtorch radio stations in Michigan several times in the last years. One of those stations is in Detroit, and the other is in Traverse City and both reach significant portions of Michigan and huge numbers of Michiganians. You did nothing when you were presented with those numerous opportunities to highlight the shortcomings of Clueless Jenny Granholm, Karl Lenin, Bart Stupak. You did little to promote the candidacies of people running against those clowns. Do you plan to do the same thing on the national stage?

(These questions might sound snippy, but they are serious.)

Are you guys going to continue trying to “reach across the aisle” even though it’s plain to everyone breathing that it only leads to getting our asses kicked?

Are you going to fight for Norm Coleman? Or are you going to let the Dems STEAL the seat out from under him?

Are you finally going to do anything to stop socialized medicine, amnesty for illegals, massive tax hikes, massive new government spending and all the other stuff you endorsed during the past eight years?

When are you going to stop caring that the media is on the left’s side and do the right thing?

Are you going to fight the usurpation of the first amendment via the “fairness doctrine”?

Are you going to embrace conservatism or are you going to continue to act ashamed of your conservative followers?

COME ON! GIVE ME SOMETHING HERE! I’m tired of taking the groin kicks from the left. :(:(:(:(:(

My question would be to the “Republicans” watching this new cycle of deception:

Why do you think the very people who got you where you are - unprincpled hacks who think paying lip service to conservatism is actually conservatism - are going to lead you somewhere good in the future?
