Agreed...complacency is not an option!!
While the author mention the electoral map he neglects to mention that McCain has pulled even and that the trend is towards McCain/Palin. The author also neglects to mention that in fact it is looking like McCain/Palin will have a possible chance to play a 50-state strategy if trends hold.
Fairly clueless analysis. PA is almost certainly an easier target for McCain/Palin than MI, and every bit as lethal.
The Rasmussen internal numbers are also interesting. “McCain is viewed favorably by 57% of the nations voters while Obama earns positive reviews from 53% (see trends). McCain is supported by 90% of Republicans and has a six-point edge among unaffiliated voters. Eighty-two percent (82%) of Democrats say theyll vote for Obama.”

The story of the election. The Republican base turned out for it’s candidates and the RACISTS in the Democrat party voted for the Republican. That’s what we should tell them, and invite blacks to join the Republican party. Vote for us, we’ll help you fix your cities, you’ve given democrats 40 plus years and they have been a disaster.
You mean demoralized, worse than Bob Dole style? No thanks. I have a better idea...lets act like we're tied! Let the opposition act like they're 10 or 20 points down.
