The gist of it was along the line of Democrat voters were those in the extremes of education (those with the most education & those with the least education vote Dem), while those who fall in the middle tend to vote GOP.
You could explore the old red/blue county map & dig into the demographic data about different areas on it. Blue areas tend to be urban, while red areas tend to be suburban & beyond.
