If you had a half-brother a half a world away and for all practical purposes did not know the man, you would seek him out to see if he was in need? It would be one thing if Obama had rejected him but that is quite a different thing from just ignoring him as he, and you and I, would ignore most strangers.

Yes, I would if I was going to run for POTUS, and if I walked the walk, instead of just talking the talk.
Obviously Obama has showed his vision of “family values.”
I think the issue here is Obama, more than most, speaks often about family values, the need to help those in need, the poor and work with failing nations to better their quality of life -— and yet he has not made any effort to help a member of his family he knows exists and HAS seen within the last 4 years. It speaks volumes about his character.
