All of that puts the U.S. in a position that war for oil or
complete economic collapse are our only choices.
You can't frustrate every source of domestic energy
without consequences. Our enemies will blackmail us
to the extent that we are vulnerable to blackmail.

Excellent article, but too bad the writer blamed it on all of the Washingtonian establishment. He should have mentioned that Pres. Bush has repeatedly and consistently told Congress to give him a bill he can sign to begin drilling HERE for oil. The Dems are definitely , and defiantly against saving this country from a total meltdown.
