It is not physically possible to show that ANY Global Warming law will have ANY effect on the climate. We will lose millions of jobs to India and China, where they don't buy this liberal hoax. Pure and simple, this is a tax to try to stop the sun from heating the earth. God help us.

I just shake my head when I think of how a people who live in the most blessed, prosperous and free nation on earth, can accept this and allow themselves to be slowly relegated to slave worker ants for the State. God bless America.
Do you doubt that our government is irretrievably broken, now??? With all that is going on in America today, THIS is the most important thing our elected representatives have to do??
I say we fire them and deny them their cushy retirements!!
For even more proof just consider who we have running for the office of president -- in both parties! The party system is broken, the government is broken and neither of these entites represent or have the interests of the American people at heart. Time to get rid of them.
Here’s the two greate ultimate ironies and unintended consequences of cap and trade...
1. It’s an incentive to move production off-shore.
If companies emit less than their cap and can sell/trade the difference, won’t this result in a direct incentive to move off-shore?
2. It’s going to make global emissions worse.
Industry in the U.S. is highly regulated and very clean compared third world factories. We move from clean U.S. smokestacks to largely untreated or filtered smokestacks. We move from clean coal technologies here to dirty coal in China. How is this better for the planet?
I intend to write a list of ten items, similar to the contract with America. If Senator McCain agrees with them and makes a formal campaign promise to perform each one, then I will resume my previous activity as a hard working volunteer for our party, otherwise I will vote, but I will make no donations and do no election campaign work. Just get a list of what the environmentalist, communist, anti-freedon Nazis want to impliment and go for the exact oposite.
