TOPICS: Texas; Campaign News; State and Local
KEYWORDS: celis; toddhunter; tx2008; tx32
Former Democrat Texas House Representative Todd Hunter is running as a Republican for Texas House District 32. He will be unopposed in the primary, but his opponent in the general election will be the current incumbent Juan Garcia who just happens to be an old law school buddy of Barak Hussein Obama at Harvard Law School. Garcia was heavily financed in 2006 by local trial lawyers including Mikal Watts and Mauricio Celis and knocked off the 10 year incumbent Gene Seaman in 2006. We're hoping to get this seat back as this is a pretty strongly Republican district.

Any Freepers who want to come to the kickoff party, please do; you're all invited. The media will be there, and we want to make sure they see a large enthusiastic crowd.

Here's a link to a Google map showing the location of the USS Lexington (CV-16) Museum.

Correction:

This USS Lexington, (CV/CVA/CVS/CVT-16), was known as “The Blue Ghost”.

The previous USS Lexington, (CV-2) was nicknamed the “Gray Lady” or “Lady Lex”

It's worse than that. The campaign website misnamed the images. The way they have it laid out, made impossible to notice unless you click on the image properties. But when I posted this thread, I put the file "http://www.electtoddhunter.com/images/news-patterson.jpg" above the text "Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson", and "http://www.electtoddhunter.com/images/news-williams.jpg" above the text "Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams".
