Among the top tier Republican candidates, Rush says that only Fred has been a consistent conservative. You have been given your marching orders. Now you know who to vote for.
RUSH:
the genuine moderate as opposed to conservative aspects of three of the top-tier, four of the top-tier candidates were on full-fledged display last night. There was one candidate who did not display any moderateness or liberalism or have any of his past forays into those areas displayed, and that candidate was Fred Thompson.
we have a campaign now where most of the candidates are not genuine conservatives. They may be saying they are, but in their past they have done some things that are not conservative in any way, shape, manner, or form and I think a lot of those things are being overlooked even by friends of mine in the conservative media because the obsession is Hillary
Hallelujah!! Maybe the voters are finally seeing through RudyMcRombee!!
To be fair, he was speaking of frontrunners when he gave this ersatz endorsement.
But you are correct Petronski, Rush has endorsed NO ONE at this time.
What's your point? If Duncan Hunter showed up as more than a blip in the polls, maybe Rush would've given him some props, but as it is, what's the use?
I’m only clarifying the record.
I don’t believe I ever referred to Rush’s statement as an “endorsement” anywhere, did I?
I’m correcting the impression left by the title. Please don’t be so touchy.

This should fill in a lot those blanks!
Thanks Josh Painter. I am reposting the links for others who might be interested in learning more about Fred.
I apoligize the https did not activate. Josh Painter has active links in post above.
“I truly believe that Conservatives are so hungry for a candidate that those in Iowa jumped to Huckabee from Romney and Rudy, and his peak will begin to drop. As they review his record more closely, they will gravitate to FRED and he will peak at just the right time.
The RUSH statements will eventually get out and the numbers will climb steadily over the next few weeks.”
These is very possible, it is hard to predict how things will come out. I do think that the “morality first” voters (like myself) will stay with Huckabee until he pulls out (if) - it is not just an Iowa phenomena. However, although I’m supporting Huckabee, I would be fully content with Thompson is he gets the GOP nomination.
I was very happy to see the numbers coming back. Even though I fully expect the poll numbers to ebb and flow in the weeks to come, those who immediately were counting Fred out can see the race is still open. Fred can do it.
FRED THOMPSON has already put out in writing proposals for the most critical issues facing this Country. I have not seen anything by Huckabee except good one-liners and a fight to hide his true record on illegal immigration.
Do you happen to know who ordered the revocation, and would you please post it?
Well, I’m not surprised it was that commie Clinton. Thank you for your detailed answer. It is much appreciated.
