There are many here on FR who would have unconscious predisposition to believe or smear Paul by these minority fringe supporters just because they dislike his foreign policy views. The old means to an ends. I said on a different thread that whoever the leading republican is, it is inevitable he will be tarred as a racist etc... so those that pile on this bandwagon will see it come back to haunt them in the general election regardless of who is the (R) candidate.

There are some here who smear based on those who support someone. However, Paul is weak on national defense, especially against terrorism. The first issue I look at in a presidential candidate.

The idea of leaving someone alone and they won't bother you has been disproven several times in a big way in the last century.
