Did you post this to GOP Club? If so, why? It won’t get nearly as many views/replies unless posted under News/Activism. Just trying to help since you referred to it as “must read.”

...and thanks to the media making Rudy Giuliani "America's Mayor" I don't have the luxury of being able to play around with my primary vote. This is a very, very important point! Unless conservatives want to have to hold their nose to vote for Rudy! - to keep Hillary! from winning - we had better start lining up behind a conservative candidate that can win.
I'm holding off to make a final judgment until I see Fred perform in a debate against the rest of the candidates, but unless he just completely botches it - I will have to make a serious decision to vote for Fred Thompson in the primary. I had planned to vote for Duncan Hunter, but I do not believe that he is going to get that much support & I don't want to throw my vote away & let Rudy get the nomination.
I can live with Fred, I might could even live with Mitt Romney - but let's face it - every vote for a second tier candidate is a vote that could have been used to defeat Rudy Guiliani. He only has so much core support, but it is still enough to keep him in 1st or 2nd place in most polls. HOWEVER - if all of the rest of us can think ahead enough to figure it out - there are more than enough of us to insure that Rudy will not be our nominee. After we get rid of him, I'm pretty sure we can beat the beast.
This strategy is not the one I wanted, but it's getting down to reality time now & we have to start sticking together if we want to win.

Excellent essay. Thanks for posting.
She has the same threshold that I have. The one line that I will not cross. Rudy Giuliani doesn’t just cross that line, he stomps on it.

"I have a line that I will not cross when it comes to who can earn my vote and that line is someone who thinks it is okay to take the life of an innocent unborn baby. Therefore, Rudy Giuliani will not be getting my vote even if he does end up winning the Republican Presidential nomination. " That's me. While I don't consider myself a one issue voter, I simply cannot vote for a person who supports the killing of unborn children..it speaks to their character, IMHO.
