We've got our first country music celebrity endorsement in the presidential race.

John Rich of Big & Rich is going for the hometown guy.

After a music row party today celebrating the duo's first number one hit, "Lost in this Moment," John Rich joined Fred Thompson for a fundraiser in Chattanooga.

Joe Nichols got hitched last night to his longtime buddy, Heather Singleton.

The ceremony was traditional, in a candle-lit chapel in Savannah, Georgia.

Joe said in a statement that he has known Heather since they were 18, and that he fell in love with her the first day he met her.
