Hudson County Republican Committee Contributed $1500 to Democrat

Posted on 06/09/2007 11:42:37 AM PDT by TheBlueAngel

Why did the Hudson County Republican Committee donate $1500 to Jeremmiah Healy's (Jersey City Democrat Mayor) campaign in Jan 2007?

Why are they using money that could go to Republican candidates and giving it to Democrats?

This must be stopped. Speak out!

The Republican party is becoming increasingly socialist and therefore is aligning itself with the socialist Democrat party. They are essentially one party.

Is it any wonder that contributions to the GOP have dropped by 40%?

I guess people think they might as well contribute to the Dems directly.

Hudson County is probably the most corrupt place in America these days next to Rep. Jefferson’s Office Freezer.

Do we know who his opponent was?

Was it a Leiberman situation?

This was filed in January 2007, this year.

The contribution was made to “Healy for Mayor 2009”.

That’s 2009! Two years away. There aren’t any opponents.

Is the Hudson County (NJ) Republican Committee even planning to run a Republican candidate for mayor in 2009?

Why isn’t the $1500 used to support a Republican candidate in any office?

Very odd. I looked him up - he looks like Guiliani/Bloomberg/Clinton policy wise - nothing to make the GOP crossover for.

Hudson County, New Jersey.

Healy is the current Democratic mayor of Jersey City and plans to run again in 2009.

Would it surprise anyone if I told you that the Chairman of the Hudson County, NJ Republican Committee works for the city of Jersey City?

Nothing to crossover for is right, besides, shouldn’t money that was raised and contributed by Republicans for Republicans be used for that purpose?
