Well, I think Rudy G will split the GOP. His presidency would be a train wreck worse than Jimmy Carter.

The speculation about Fred Thompson has taken some wind out of Giuliani’s sails, but he’s still in the game.

I think Rudy Giuliani will be a superb president. The first sentence tells me everything I need to know about the author.

but what I most admire is his record of fiscal conservatism. No politician who wants taxpayers to pay for abortions can be considered a fiscal conservative in any way, shape or form. Forbes is a liar.

Moreover, Rudy Giuliani realizes no issue is more important to our nation's security than winning the terrorists war on us. He is the man to keep our country on offense, not defense. Along with "Only Rudy can beat Hillary", this is another false direction.
Our greatest threat is not from foreign terrorists. They cannot defeat this nation.
This nation's biggest threat is our own people, especially those in governement who take away liberty to provide safety.
We have to concentrate on candidates who are concerned about personal libery and free enterprise. when we have those, no terrorist can conquer us.

Ping to read later. My employer has blocked redstate.com. Hmmm.
However, the part posted said the same thing as Steve Forbes’ LAST opinion editorial telling us Rudy was the right man. Don’t know if it’s exactly the same words, but when you have to repeat your own endorsement editorial every few weeks it’s not a good sign.

Sure, go ahead, nominate him. It'll only undo most of what we've been working for during the last 30 years. Hell, if his staunchest critics are right and he really is a "Hitler on the Hudson," it'll undo most of what we've done for the last 230 years.

I think he is a good guy. I live 20 miles from NY... I see what the man did for the place (well before 911). We disagree on social issues but I still think he would make a good Pres or even a VP. Ill tell ya what though, the libs are scared to death of the man. He would crush anyone that runs against him in the General Election. However, I think Romney or Thompson would as well. Either way, if he wins the Primary I would support him as President. Better him then the True devil across the isle.

If Rudy wins the nomination it will be because a whole bunch of registered Republicans vote for him ...most of those Republicans are smart enough to factor into the equation that a lot of social conservatives may refuse to vote for him in the general election ...At this point I think these folks are getting worked up over nothing . Their anger at Rudy does not necessarily attract voters to their ideas....The nastiness around here did little but stregnthen the resolve of those who favor Rudy.

Forbes writing is based on myth.
Every kudos he mentions about Rooty is urban legend.
Talk to the first responders about Giuliani's leadership before and after 9/11. You will get a litany of horror stories.
