ABSOLUTELY.

They won't win over the worst of the lot .. but many may be convinced to vote for him in the primary.

I think they are going to see Rudy as a winner and will join the winning team. Am totally convinced he is running when you bring in these heavy hitters.

Found Cong Mary Bono's endorsement for Rudy.

Bono backing Giuliani for president in '08

Rep. Mary Bono, R-Palm Springs, has already picked her candidate for president in 2008 -- former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Giuliani is the right man for the job, Bono said, adding that she's in line with “most of his philosophies.”

“Most of all, he showed tremendous leadership on Sept. 11 (2001)," she said. "It could not have been planned or staged. It was truly him, the man, rising to the occasion. I admire that."

Giuliani has not yet formally announced his intention to run for president, but has formed an exploratory committee to examine the possibility. Bono's campaign is sponsoring a golf event to raise funds for Giuliani's committee on Tuesday, at the Rancho Mirage home and golf course of Edra Blixseth, Porcupine Creek Golf Club. Just found this on a blog following the announcement of his fundraisers. Thought you would like to see:

I’m particularly interested in the attention Rudy is giving to California, which, with its many electoral votes and big-name potential donors/supporters, could begin playing a huge role in the Republican nominating process, especially if they move their primary date up to February 5th, 2008, as is planned. by Woodrow Eisenhower @ 9:08 pm, Jan 27, 2007
