ELECTION POST-MORTEM

While most Republicans woke up this morning lamenting Armageddon Tuesday, some of us didn't lose any sleep over the election results. Happy at the prospect of two years with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi running Congress? Hardly. But there are a lot of silver linings behind these otherwise dark clouds.

Not to worry. We lost the election but people are exuberant over the fact that we got more stores to say "Merry Christmas" this year. Who needs to be the majority when every year we will happily walk into stores and hear those important words from some teenage brat being forced to utter "Merry Christmas". This is the win that is most important to Conservatives. Elections are just not important anymore. They are so 90's as they say. Glad we have our priorities in order.
