You mean the horse, or the campaign ? I think they've already crawled up into the campaign's... ;-)
LOL
Remember, the horse had no name...
has anyone heard the new radio commercial for one of harris' competitors?
It goes through the candidates qualifications and ends with a woman's voice yelling "SHE CAN'T WIN!!!!!"
This was right in the commercial. Never heard that tactic before.
My post got their rhetoric down pat, but I think post #73 did even better, revealing the MINDSET of the die-hard "Katherine can do no wrong" Harris fanatics on FR.
Unfortunately, no matter how many times you explain the concept of PRIMARY ELECTIONS to the Harris worshippers, they're hold their ears and sing "lalalala". It's sort of like the die hard open-borders crowd, where no matter how many times you explain that illegal aliens are automatically ILLEGAL and committing a crime, they insist those people are actually "law abiding undocumented guest workers".
The Harris worshippers have no interest in "allowing" other "R's" they don't like to run, and therefore believe the following:
1) Primary elections are pep rallies for our CHOOSEN candidate and party leaders are obiviliged to blindly support the candidate we feel is ENTITED to the GOP nomination, whether this person is running for re-election or for an open seat. Failure to support OUR candidate in the primary because you think another Republican will do a better job or stands a better chance of winning means you are actually working for the Democrat. OUR candidate is the ONLY acceptable choice in the primary, not supporting him/her is treason within the GOP.
2) If OUR candidate does not make it thur the primary, we are NOT obiliged to support anyone else with an "R" next to their name in November who is the only alternative to the Democrat, because THAT person is NOT the CHOOSEN one WE wanted nominated. Furthermore, if someone we do not like wins the primary running UNOPPOSED, we will spend the entire general election demeaning and undermining his/her candidacy so the Democrat will win, rather than realize we erred by failing to run a "better" candidate in the primary. (Remember, primaries are pep rallies for the CHOOSEN ONE, so obviously we can't be at fault if there's no CHOOSEN ONE)
So basically this adds up to...
THE SANE:
"Ummm... guys, how about we nominate someone who hasn't run the worst campaign on the planet?" 45%
THE INSANE:
"Losing 3-to-1 against Nelson doesn't matter. Going thur four campaign staffs doesn't matter. Dragging down the entire GOP ticket in November doesn't matter. Our candidate is ENTILED to be the GOP nominee no matter what. God WILLS it!!!...YEEEEEEEEEEEAGH!!!!!" 38%
AND
THE WIMPY:
"Nominate hottie GOP hero with boobies and our ass kicked or Nominate drab unknown person who might actually win.... gee, umm.... gosh darn it, I just...can't figure this one out yet." 17%
It looks like George Bush was right about Katherine Harris and Florida. I wish she had listened.
She suffers from extreme megalomania.
Maybe she'll qualify for a disability check from Social Security.
The State GOP is absoulutely incompetent.
Could have cut the legs out from under her by letting people know she was a psychotic, then pushed someone that had a chance of beating Nelson.
They sat on their hands instead.
Probably lose the Governors mansion too, I can't imagine 2 worse canidates than John Karr Crist and Insurance Scam Gallagher.
This poll was taken BEFORE THE PRIMARIES. and more people thought bush was doing a good job on iraq than the economy (61% no).....lol.....
Is Jeb not going to help her? She needs some help.
Clintonfatigued, c'mon now. I respect the work you do covering the Senate races. You and I both know that this poll is about as credible as Debka.
These results (released and posted on August 30) are from Strategic Vision, a Republican-oriented polling firm. It's not plausible to label this Democrat propoganda.
She would not listen to anyone. She is going to make a fool of herself. She should have stayed in the House. This will end her career in politics...
