Incidentally, Strategic Vision is a Republican-run polling firm, and can't be attacked as partisan DemocRAT propoganda.

At the rate this is going, she may wind up with under 10%. And this is in a marginally Red State.

I'd sat that at the rate this is going, she could lose in the primary. The folks in Pinellas County all seem to think that they're the only ones voting in this primary.
FR's loyal Harris supporters think they'll be able to push her over the top, even when just a few bother to turn out for her rallies and the like.
I'm thinking that one of the other primary candidates may well push her right off the ballot. It would be a mercy for her.

There, how was my "Katherine Harris fanatic" impersonation?

There ya go. The horse? Wait for it. Someone will be along soon to post it. That will make all the difference. I mean, once you see Harris on a horse, how could you vote for anyone else?

I don't dislike her, and if she had a chance, I would support her. But this is just humiliating.

I'd be more interested in a poll that matches up Jeb and Nelson.

Why? That would have about as much practical significance right now as would a poll matching Linda Lingle and Nelson.

I don't think she's going to win that Senate seat.

Good Gawd.
At 20% she is down close to the "Probability of some error" numbers.
I thought she might slip below 30% (a disaster for an R in a statewide race in Florida.) At 30, everyone told me I was being pessimistic!
But 20!
Give her every undecided and Nelson still wins almost 2/1... and the undecideds will NOT break her way. She has all the support now she will ever get.
A personal, albeit self-generated tragedy for a good woman.

Right now, with her mistakes, you are correct. I would vote for the horse.

Bill Nelson 63%
Katherine Harris 20%
If you read the "what-if polling" section of the story, you might note the odd footnote to this poll: the Cocoa-Puffs Cuckoo is actually polling at 23% v. Nelson in this race.
