Working the voting machine they have down there now is hell, if the website with the device is accurate, as to how it works. You need to turn a dial to select the box to punch. To do a write in, you need to turn the dial to the write in box, and then turn the dial across an array of the 26 letters, until you hit the right letter, enter it, and then do it all over again to input the next letter, and then again, and again, and again. If that is in fact how it works, I think it close to game over for the Pubbies this year in TX -22. (Whoever selected this machine must have been in a mind altered state at the time., or on the take, or something.) Folks just are not going to spend the time to play with it unless very motivated, and figure out the two step of hitting the write in box, and then inputting letters one letter at at time, using a cumbersome dial.
