The Branch County 4-H Fair will be underway, and on Tuesday of that week, Aug. 8, there may very well be a couple of real horse races coming down to the wire as voters go to the polls.

This district is a conservative district and there is no reason for Michigan conservatives to be supporting a RINO like John Schwarz.
Tim Walberg is pro-life, pro-gun, pro-border security, pro-growth. He deserves support.
Walberg for Congress ping
LMAO!!
Their votes come as no surprise.
With only a single conservative running against Schwarz, I think the odds are in our favor to knock off the RINO and elect Walberg. Had 2 or 3 of the also-ran conservatives dropped out prior to the 2004 primary, Walberg would have defeated Schwarz and that RINO would have never gotten to Congress.
BTW, Walberg is not only (a lot) more connservative, he is a better ideological fit for the district and a safer bet in the general election. Holding one's nose and voting for the liberal may be necessary in, say, Rob Simmons's CT-02 (in which President Bush was held to 44% and a big chunk of those Bush voters were social liberals), but it would be the worst possible move in a rural Midwestern district such as the MI-07.
I voted for Walberg about an hour ago. The ladies working the primary said that voter turnout was very busy for a primary and were more than a little surprised. I'm in Waterloo and was the 340-something voter. Things should pick up even more once people get out of work; that's when my hubby will be voting.
I think Schwartz is outta here.
Would you believe I saw a Walberg sign in Chelsea???? Shocking!
"I voted for Walberg about an hour ago."
I just heard that Walberg has 68% of the vote!!! The radio said they don't know if Jackson County is in but this is a VERY good sign!
GO Tim GO!
