CNN is reporting the shooting happened Saturday!
No that's Clinton hunting season.
Armstrong Ranch..."victim" is 78 years old...Cheney turned to shoot(murder) a bird....Cheney is an avid hunter...."vicim" is a lawyer from Austin.

They've all gone to other stories now. Shocked it happened Saturday and we're just hearing about it today. Although early reporting is often wrong.
But CNN was clear; the shooting happened Saturday. We shall see.

Disgusting. Not only are they delusional, but heartless and sick.
Well remind me not to go hunting with the VP! :) I guess the man is going to be OK. Thank God, but can you imagine the press and the talk shows tomorrow?
That is why you establish "fire zones" when hunting with others! I remember a friend of mine and his father invited me on a duck hunt. I was late getting there (100+ miles away and I had a college project to finish). While I waited at their house with my friend's mother, we got a call from the hospital that my friend's father had been shot!
Luckily, the #6 pellets missed his eyes and arteries but he looked like a total bloody mess! It turned out that, they had invited a good customer and his son to hunt with them and, despite the customer's assurances to the contrary, his son had never hunted before and was an accident waiting to happen! He fired 4 shots at a pair of ducks with the last two shots being directly at the duck blind my friend's father was in!!!
I certainly considered myself lucky to not have been able to go on that hunt!
My friend (in a fit of rage) ran to the offending shooter and would have killed him if not dragged off by several others in the hunting party!
All that said..., accidents can and will happen even when proper precautions are taken and the hunters are experienced!

FOX just confirmed this took place yesterday.
So it would seem the media will fuel hysteria for a couple of hours...til everyone figures out the poor fellow will be fine.
I wonder if this Whittington looks anything like Dean?
Hopefully a leahy or a biden. To bag a kennedy would be too much to hope for.
The DUmmies would cause a mass shortage of aluminum foil.
