Quail? Then we're probably talking size 8 pellets, likely at some distance. Tweezers maybe, a little antiseptic, and some bandaids.

Quail hunting?
Can someone enlighten me? I've been hunting since I was a kid and I've never heard of quail hunting in February. Field bird hunting with the exception of Spring Gobbler is almost exclusively a fall sport. At least that is what I always thought. Are there Southern states where quail season is in the dead of winter?

Vice president was weekend hunting, shot Perry Widdington (sp?), age 78, alert and doing well, Corpus Christi hospital. Under investigation by local sheriff.
