Because "Bush hates blacks."
Bump.

Thanks for posting this, I've been looking for something like this for months.
...and sadly I think that's the last time they've been seen around here.
This is something every Black American should see.
This sounds like a description of someone I used to know really well (married my college roommate) who is now retired from UPI. At least it sounds like him after he's had too much to drink.
We see it. That is, we see it HERE!
I think this is something white republicans should see. But more importantly, it is something white republicans should be able to discuss openly, freely and without reservation as if it's something they know and understand. "Hesitation" to express this understanding, if you believe in the values espoused by the republican party, will keep Black people from opening a very important dialog about the party.
Having this republican history and not putting it up against the lies liberals tell us allows liberals to label white republicans any way they see fit, and you do nothing but essentially ignore it. But you know that ignoring a liberal is the same as ignoring a cancer.
I think the reason why liberal misinformation sticks is because many white republicans are unaware of most of the bullet points listed here. White Republicans MUST be in the business of teaching Black liberals about the Republican party in the same way white liberals push their lies about the democrat party.
Great post!
But of course, the blacks will hear from the Liberals/Democrats " move along now, more right along, nothing to see and learn the truth here "
It started with Herbert Hoover wooing white Southerners in 1928 to capitalize on anti-Catholic bigotry against Democrat nominee Al Smith. And then The New Deal, intended to cope with an economic emergency of historic proportions but kept in place after the Great Depression ended, won over a number of African-American voters. In 1960, JFK met with Martin Luther King when the latter was arrested while Richard Nixon avoided the issue. Then in 1964, Barry Goldwater was misconstrued as being sympathetic towards white supremacists. In 1980, Ronald Reagan was also mistaken as being sympathizing with racial bigotry The Democrats skillfully played that false impression, helped by The Lamestream Media. And there you have it.

Thanks!
The empty promises of Johnson's Great Society....something for nothing.

Outstanding post.
"Now will someone tell me why the democrats get the african american vote?"
Because propaganda ministers such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are good at what they do, which is exploiting cultural identity to politically brainwash a lot of people.
Because the Democrats want to tax the "MAN" and give the money to the "POOR" in the form of welfare, housing and free medical care. It's all sort of a touchy-feely economic question. It reminds one of the Hutu/Tutsi conflict.
