Oh good, I'm so glad your son is better.

It's been hot and so humid here lately too. It is frustrating not being able to get the kids out. Most of the summer was like that this year here.

It was a real challenge getting my son to do his homework when he was younger. For the most part, now he does it all automatically without the constant nagging. LOL! My daughter would never go in without homework. She gets stressed if she is unprepared. I have to tell her it's ok, we can get it done.

That is too funny about the reading teacher's kids and homework.:) I did phonics with the kids when they were 4/5 years old. My son was in kindergarten. At that time, they were teaching creative spelling. I figured, I better do something. Creative spelling. LOL! Where do they come up with this stuff?:) I'm so thankful, by the time my son was in 5th grade he was already at an adult reading level and my daughter is an excellent reader also. That's half the battle. :)

I was surprised I found that guy in the coffee beans in time. I was afraid, I would have to do right brain exercises. Whew. :) LOL!
