Welcome fellow parent of a soldier! Where is your son stationed? Mine is at Fort Hood (1st Cav, D-Co, 1-227 AVN) and had been to Iraq and is scheduled to be deployed again.

He's training for deployment, leaves for Iraq in November.
He had been at Camp Shelby MS but the hurricane blew him away to Texas for a few weeks.:)
(A lot of the equipment at Shelby was damaged/destroyed so the medics are continuing their training at Camp Bullis for a few weeks.)
