Well, this looks like a real snoozer...but, can take that since all three of my guys are winning comfortably. I was the 21st GOP voter this morning in my precinct, out of what looks like a total of 98 GOP voters by the end of the day. We had 201 Dem voters in that same precinct by the time the polls closed. Looks like a total turnout in Alexandria of about 9.5%.
if this holds, it's a crushing defeat for Tom Davis. boo hoo
Wasn't Reese (67th District) one of the ones who voted for the tax increase (or the "budget compromise" as the news orgs are calling it?)
I'm proud to be part of that 9.5% in Alexandria!
I was the only voter at the precinct when I went today. Pretty pathetic considering the lines around the building last election day.
Do you need another box of Kleenex???????
Yea, I hear ya, Hoodlum, on the turnout. I told someone at work that same thing today. In November, the line stretched out the building and down the street. I waited in line about 80 minutes. Today...I just walked right in...and there was one other voter in there. But proud to be of the 9.5%, too!
Where in Alexandria?
I vote across the street from the Patrick Henry School (it's a senior center. can't remember the name)

Thanks for the updates!
I'm trying to keep up!!!
I just looked at Accomac county (where I live) in my polling place 13 people voted in Republican gov race.
for Lt Gov it was 13 and 13
And for AG: 13 Rs.
IOW - a total of 26 out of 1,000 bothered to vote - how pathetic.
really pathetic .. then come Fall the 974 will complain about their choices !
Just about 95% of Precincts have reported in as of this posting and for the 3 state wide races turnout has been less than 4%.
some delegate races have had turnout above 15% but not Very much.
I'm get my results HERE
We didn't have any local primaries, which is why I figure the top of the ticket really didn't bother with us over here. The only radio ads I have heard are Kilgore and Kaine.....nothing about today being the primary.
