Why is the left always looney and radical? What has Jon Stewart done that makes him delusional? He seems both calm and rational, and very determined.

As a conservative I am offended when the term 'radical' and 'looney' is used to derogatorily describe those who simply disagree with our policies and opinions. We must be careful not to throw about useless terms and cloud the debate.

I am assuming that our common desire is to respectfully arrive at an understanding on certain issues without hostility.

excuse my use of adjectives. You're right. I collapsed John Stewart into the clowns in the street, and there's a difference.

thanks for a dishonest useless response.

1) who asked for propaganda? I said I want to balance existing propaganda put out by the radical left.

2) My views are radical? Interesting you would say so since I haven't expressed any views on any issues.

3) I'm not asking for support, I'm asking for where I can get funding, are you ok, the lights are on but it doesn't seem like anybody's home. READ the post before you reply to it. Thanks.

Oh, and yes, I think anyone who alikens the US and/or Bush to Nazis is speaking nonsense, sorry but my recollection of history just doesn't justify the bogus comparison.

Relax. Find something more worthwhile to do with your time and energy. The radical left and the radical right cancel each other out. Despite the incredible hype from the media you will find that the vast majority of people fall into the middle of the political spectrum and it is extremely rare that any radical position is ever legitimised by becoming law. Unfortunatly we only have 2 major political parties in this country and they have ensured that the laws will make it to difficult for any other party to make a serious run for office, so people have to take one side or the other (R-D). Michael Moore and Rush Limbaugh are both radicals and they have no tolerance for any views other than their own. They care for no one other than themselves and their bloated egoes (as do most politicians).

I am a moderate conservative republican, but I also have to look back at history and remember that almost every major political change that made a positive impact on our nation was an act of "liberalism", starting with that most liberal document, the Constitution of the United States of America.

I think you are doing fine as to asking for leads in this culture war all Americans are now in. There are many good books, sure. You can go to many good conservative sites like townhall.com. You can use many Talk Radio sites for conservatives. They all have links to good books, websites like Hughhewitt.com, DennisPrager.com, Sean Hannity, Rush, Boortz. The best overall site to see good conservative banter against liberal points of view, is realclearpolitics.com. There you will find many daily conservative pols, writers, commentators commenting on the fault lines of the day, whether political, cultural, religious, economic et al. The Left is enshrined in many forums. You can go to the NY Times forums, Op-Ed and see real hatred from the Left. Any rightist ranters are often dismissed and loons prevail. Still, it is worth becoming a member though the stuff you read will gall and sicken you sometimes. But, it gives you a view of some really deluded lefties. They will tell you just how intellectually and superior they are and try to run you off. Don't do it. Stick it out and see how they think and who they support. Of course, the LA Times,Boston Globe and Wash. Post have fora too. Sign up and see what sites they link to as well as what the posters cite. There you will find some of the most alternative universe postings available.
