During one of the Secession threads...I came across this piece in the Constitution:
Amendment 14 / Article 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
So Constitutionally....John Kerry should be removed from office for talking to the Viet Cong after being sworn in as a Naval Officer. Anyone in MA want to be the one to kick this off?
Saw this posted about a million times during the election. I would love to see some action on this.
Hmm, okay...guess I missed those million posts :)
Yes, we should take this to the Senate. I smell victory.
Hey man....We already won. Senator Kerry is harmless. Let him go, besides he's fun to crack jokes about...
The man is a traitor and is not harmless as he would sell out this country any chance he gets and should be taken out
There will be no actions taken to address this issue. Until accused, brought to trial, and convicted, Kerry is as guilt free as anyone else. And no one in the seats of power that could expedite the required processes from happening are going to do anything about it. That is just the way it is.
As indicated above, there have been quite a few posts on this issue, which also included the military end, where he is known to be in violation of a few Unified Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), articles during his tenor with the United States Navy during a time of war.
Kerry will go to the grave a free man. So unless he runs again for the senate and or presidency, you might as well get over this issue. If he does run. Once again he will get a free pass. This is just the way things go in high places.
not as long as he's still in the senate

Man U can SURE SPOT 'EM QUICK!
bump!
hehe! I had a pointer on this one. :^)
good catch.
"Anyone in MA want to be the one to kick this off?"
I sure would like to be the one to KICK him...
actually, I am hoping he goes to Bagdad soon "to see his constituents"...and I want my boys over there either turning their backs on him, or asking, all innocent-like,
"Senator Kerry, why haven't you signed the SF180"?
