No, we don't vote for First Lady. But according to a USA Today/PBS survey, 54 percent of Americans think the candidate's spouse is very or somewhat important in choosing whom to vote for in a presidential contest. And they are absolutely right.
Besides being so influential on the president and the presidency (think of Nancy, think of Hillary) a First Lady can be an irresistible distraction for the media (think of Nancy, think of Hillary).

Does this mean that those that elected Clinton twice, really wanted Hillary? If so, then it's probably a shoe-in for her in '08....
I can just imagine TuhrayZUH declaring herself co-president ala Hillary.
Or making similar statements to Hillary's "WE are the president."

Mrs. Bush is such a lady, such a southern lady. So classy and dignified. Every time I hear her being trashed by the media and feminists I always think "a pearly before swine."
When the feminists cast Hillary as their queen they lost me forever. I'd rather be a lady than a feminist!
