Stop what?
Stop voter apathy towards Marion Barry's criminal behavior.
In a way Marion Barry is the epitome of the Democratic candidate! His campaign slogan could be "Marion Barry: If he was a Republican he'd be living in disgrace right now!" And the people running that site should sell bumper-stickers that say "B**ch set me up!" to raise money and as the touchy-feely Dems like to say "raise awareness". (Just kidding.)
Edwards will be looking for a job come Nov 3. ;-)

Gee, I thought it was always seen as honorable when a Rat was a criminal...a real plus on the resume!
You can't stop him. The voters just love him and keep electing him to stuff. Your only hope is to flee the city for the greener pastures of Maryland or Virginia.
Marion Barry is a fool but the people of D.C. are bigger fools. Who's zoomin' who? My advice is let the dead bury the dead. If you can leave D.C. just shake the dust off your sandals and leave.
That's right. Cut and run. Sounds like a rat strategy and not a good message to be sending to the youth of the US.
I moved to just south of DC a couple years ago and when I heard of Barry running again, I asked my boss what the hell the people of DC were thinking wanting a crack-head for a mayor.
The response I got: Because the people that live in DC can relate to him.
Evidently, theres alot of drug users in DC
There are. My mother no longer goes out on her back porch because of the heroin addicts in her neighbor's yard which faces the porch. Crackheads are everywhere. On Friday and Saturday nights take a walk down U Street and you'll see college kids strung out on estacy or whatever the new party drug is and of course there are the weed smokers in every downtown partk.
