Kerry pulls ahead in Newsweek poll. Why am I not suprised! I've been following their stories for awhile. And I thought CBS would have put it out first! They must have polled the gang at CBS. But contrast their poll with this: http://www.electoral-vote.com/

I wouldn't mind if I thought they were just reporting the facts to the people. But they can feel comforted that the money I save from buying their rag will go to paying Kerry's Tax increase!

Did anyone, but me, see Kerry pull notes out of his pocket while walking up to the podium in the forst debate. A violation of debate rules, maybe?

(c) No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.
...
(d) Notwithstanding subparagraph 5(c), the candidates may take notes during the debate on the size, color and type of paper each side prefers. Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium, table or other structure to be used by the candidate in that debate.

I keep thinking about the first Reagan/Mondale debate when everyone was questioning Reagan's ability. I think you'll see a tanned and rested Bush going in to debate two. The pit-bull Cheney is going to open up a can of woop-ass on Edwards to Bush can ride in on the momentum of that. We'll see.
