My wife & I would like to attend this event; however, we have never attended a political event before.

According to The Union Leader online, it's been postponed:

"Bush NH visit postponed
The Union Leader has learned that President George W. Bush's Sunday campaign trip to New Hampshire has been postponed. The President instead will visit the Gulf coast areas hit hard by Hurricane Ivan this weekend.
The President had planned a stop at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, where he was expected to start the NASCAR Nextel Cup race before a crowd of about 100,000. He then planned a campaign rally in Derry.
The Derry event may be rescheduled for Monday afternoon."

Last night, Channel 50 WNDS, showed preparations for the event at a sports venue on A St. (I think it's just off Broadway) in Derry. They mentioned Monday as the new date.

The latest polls show Kerry leading Bush by 5 to 9 points. I hope that the rally is successful and generates good local press.
