Sentate bill 89, and corresponding HR 163 to reinstate the draft was written, sponsored and cosponsored by ALL DEMOCRATS back in Jan of 2003. Edwards recently (yesterday?) said in a town hall meeting that if he and Kerry were elected, that the Draft would NOT be reinstated. Is this extortion?

This is a straw man being manufactured so that K&E
can run against it.

Expect to shortly see Dem proposals to:
- re-activate Prohibition
- deny women the vote
- legalize slavery

K&E will loudly promise to not support these also.

Hey, if you can't get any traction on real issues,
invent some fake ones.

Are we sure those draft bills aren't forgeries?

Let's see them come out with a "won't raise taxes" position, or a "won't eliminate the tax cuts" or "will support making tax cuts permanent".
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

They are against the war but for the draft?

They criticize the deficit, but want to spend the enormous sum of money needed to pay, feed, and clothe every 18-20 y/o male who are physically up to the job?

They oppose virtually weapon systems except those built in their district, but want to draft young men to go to war without the weapons needed to arm them?

Are the 'Rats making no sense at all, or am I missing something?
